Today I went out with David to see the Pallas’s leaf warbler which had been sited at Moor green lakes in Berkshire. After much searching and many long-tailed tits we spotted the warbler near the waters edge. I managed a couple of ID shots but nothing special. We then went to Queen mothers resevouir to try for the buff-bellied pipits but the gates where closed. Nevermind,so we took the journey to Mac Donalds outside Heathrow where I managed a few shots of Starlings that were hanging out in the carpark. Staines resevouir was our last stop where we saw Golden eye and Black-necked grebe. Thanks again to my partner in crime DB !
