Urban birds

Urban birds
< Today me and my Dad went up to a camera convention in the Hilton hotel to see different exhibitors and so on. We had been there quite a while so we decided to go outside for a 2 minute break, which turned into a 30 minute one. We had seen a small urban pool of water where we decided to sit down, and no sooner had we sat down I was up again stalking a Grey wagtail which was stalking the the pool perimeters in search of insects hiding under the overhang. It was really great to see such a beauty of a bird in the inner parts of London. At one point I was within touching distance of the little fella. He made going back to the conventions harder than I thought. After the trade show we headed to Hyde part to search for some photographic opportunities down by the Serpentine.I managed to use my remote receiver to good use as the pigeons were great to photograph at their level and particularly enjoyed my chocolate cake.A day well spent 🙂
